Confirmation three more charter schools will open at the start of next year

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is an online school offering small virtual classes for students who struggle to attend regular schools.

Te Aratika High School in Hawke's Bay will prepare disengaged Maori and Pasifika students for employment, with a focus on trades.

Altum Academy will be Wellington's first charter school, teaching Classical Education.

Associate Education Minister David Seymour says the new schools will join three others opening in 2026, bringing the total to 14.
