It's suspected opoids are the substance which sent a Wairarapa trio to hospital at the weekend

The three people were found by paramedics after taking a substance they believed was cocaine.

They are expected to make a full recovery.

Police are investigating the source of the substance and are calling on people to keep a look out for white powders.

They say anyone planning to take these substances should get them checked at a service like The Level.
