Managed funds have raked in millions of dollars - since the rebooted golden visa scheme launched in April

Managed funds have raked in millions of dollars - since the rebooted golden visa scheme launched in April

BusinessDesk reports 137-million dollars has been invested through the scheme to July 27th - two thirds of which has gone to managed funds.

Most of the money comes from overseas applicants - in return for residency, under the active investor programme.

More than 55-million dollars has flowed into private credit or debt funds - lending to local businesses in fields like aviation services, e-commerce and infrastructure.

But there's concern investment in private credit goes against the scheme's purpose.
