    A 29 year old man police wanted to speak to in relations to double homicide in Ruatiti has handed himself in


    56-year-old Brendon Leigh Cole and 54-year-old Trina Michelle Cole were found dead at a rural property almost two weeks ago, though Police believe they were shot several days earlier.

    The man had been named a person of interest, sparking a nearly two week search around the Whanganui National Park area.

    He handed himself into Police around 1.30 this afternoon, where he was arrested on an active warrant for unlawful possession of firearms.

    He's due in court tomorrow, and Police say further enquiries are underway.
