Thousands of displaced people in Gaza are preparing threadbare tents in the face of more winter rain

Thousands of displaced people in Gaza are preparing threadbare tents in the face of more winter rain

Barefoot children are playing on chilly sand, with reports of families in the central town of Deir al-Balah living in tents for most of the war between Israel and Hamas.

A displaced mother of four Shaima Wadi says they have to use pieces of wood to reinforce tents when they collapse from rain.

She says with how expensive everything has become, and no income, they can't afford necessities.
