A man who allegedly threw a hockey stick at a car, before trying to steal over 400 dollars worth of alcohol on Auckland's North Shore, is facing multiple charges

A man who allegedly threw a hockey stick at a car, before trying to steal over 400 dollars worth of alcohol on Auckland's North Shore, is facing multiple charges

Police say the 22-year-old got into a verbal altercation with another motorist in Glenfield on Thursday, and threw multiple items out the windrow, damaging the vehicle.

He then reportedly threatened a worker at a Northcote liquor store, smashed a bottle, and tried to take off with a further eight bottles.

A breath alcohol test following the man's arrest showed he was three times over the legal limit.

He fronted North Shore District Court yesterday, and will re-appear on November 14th.
