Police are looking at taking enforcement action over Brian Tamaki's convoy across Auckland

Police are looking at taking enforcement action over Brian Tamaki's convoy across Auckland

Tamaki's "Make New Zealand Great Again" protest against the flying of flags other than New Zealand blocked part of State Highway 1 yesterday.

Acting Assistant Commissioner Naila Hassan, says some entered the motorway network on foot, which was reckless, unlawful, and extremely irresponsible.

She says a permit wasn't sought for that, and as a result, there were no traffic management plans in place to keep the wider public safe.
