A magic 300 for Central Districts batsman Tom Bruce as Central Districts bat on in the four-day Plunket Shield match against Auckland at Eden Park outer oval

Bruce is unbeaten on 316 - his triple century coming off 379 balls - a strike rate of 79 with 31 fours and four sixes.

It's the ninth triple century by a New Zealander in home conditions and first since Devon Conway made an unbeaten 327 for Wellington against Canterbury in the 2019/20 season.

Central Districts are 610 for four.
