Criminal charges filed against HelloFresh - are not the first red flag raised about its behaviour

Criminal charges filed against HelloFresh - are not the first red flag raised about its behaviour

The Commerce Commission has filed criminal charges against the meal company - accusing it of offering former customers a discount voucher without clearly stating it would reactivate their subscription.

Consumer NZ Research and Advocacy acting head, Jessica Walker, says they've received a number of complaints over the years.

She says they raised concerns when people were paying for subscriptions they believed they'd paused in 2023.
