Aubrey O'Day fears Sean 'Diddy' Combs' prison sentence isn't long enough for him to "become a better person"

The 56-year-old music mogul is serving 50 months behind bars after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and he is scheduled for release on June 4, 2028 but O'Day - who appeared on the disgraced rap star's reality show Making The Band - is convinced the jail term isn't enough for him to change.

She told Variety: "I am unsure that the amount of time that he's going to be in prison is enough to fully, solely do the type of work that you would need to become a better person and to - how do I say this?

"To heal into the type of person that could be effective and good going back into life ... "

O'Day went on to explain she's also worried Combs will use a "great spin team" to project the idea he has "recreated a new version of himself" during his time behind bars so he can launch a comeback when he is finally released.

She added: "I'm mostly worried that a lot of money and a great spin team could create the idea that he has once again recreated a new version of himself.

"And that worries me, because there are people that will always be around to be able to potentially be pulled into that."

O'Day featured in Netflix series Sean Combs: The Reckoning in which she was seen on camera reading an affidavit given by another woman who claims she walked in on the singer being assaulted by Combs and another man while she was "sprawled out on a leather couch looking very inebriated".

In the interview with Variety, O'Day insists she hopes being open about her experiences will help bring about ending abuse in wider society - not just in the music industry.

She told the publication: "I'm overall wanting the behavior to stop across the board. We're having open discussions to this day about behaviors that are very similar. And I'm wondering what we as a society are going to do about them."
