The Bay of Plenty's Maketu Road has reopened, after Police and members of the Armed Offenders Squad carried out a pre-planned search warrant

It's related to investigations, into the death of Zain Matenga Taikato Fox, who died from critical injuries last month.

Locals should expect increased Police presence in Maketu this morning, as enquiries continue.
