Gisborne and Hawke's Bay Generally fine but a band of showers over Hawke's Bay moving to Gisborne this evening before clearing tonight.
Taumarunui to Kapiti, including Taihape Cloudy periods and a few showers, clearing tomorrow afternoon with increasing fine spells.
Wairarapa and Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough and Canterbury Fine apart from some cloud near the ranges this evening.
Buller and Grey Cloudy periods and a few showers.
Westland, Fiordland and Stewart Island Showers, but long fine spells about Westland today. Showers turning to rain about the ranges tomorrow.
Otago and Southland Cloudy periods with a few showers near the south coast. Becoming fine overnight.
