Northeast swell 1 metre. Fair visibility in a few showers. Monday : Northerly 20 knots. Rising to northwest 30 knots but westerly 20 knots south of East Cape in the morning. Sea becoming rough in the north. Long period southwest swell 1 metre, easing. Northeast swell 1 metre. Poor visibility in morning showers, possibly heavy. Outlook following 3 days: Tuesday: Northwest 30 knots but westerly 20 knots south of East Cape, rising to westerly 30 knots everywhere in the morning, easing to 20 knots in the evening. Sea becoming rough for a time. Moderate southwest swell developing, but moderate northwest swell developing north of East Cape. Wednesday: Southwest 20 knots. Moderate southwest swell, but moderate northwest swell north of East Cape, becoming moderate southwest swell everywhere. Thursday:Southerly 15 knots, easing to variable 10 knots later.
