The NZ Sharemarket rose slightly yesterday with the NZX50 up 0.45% percent (59.36 points) from previous close to end the day at 12,906. The most actively traded stock on the sharemarket, with over 1.3 million shares changing hands was Fletcher Building Ltd , closing the day up 2% from it's opening to $3.08. The next biggest trader was SkyCity Entertainment Group Ltd (NS) ($1.46) with over 1.3 million shares being traded. Rises outweighed falls by 120 to 104, with the star of the day being Black Pearl Group Ltd (, while the biggest loser was New Talisman Gold Mines Ltd (up 0%). |
